Biography

An Oregon native, Lynda was born and raised in Salem. She relocated to Portland in 2007 to advance her career in healthcare. A passion for helping others runs deep in Lynda’s family – her mother is an RN. Not long after receiving her CNA certification and working with seniors, especially Alzheimer’s residents, Lynda was recognized for a strength in business management. For the next 20 years she continued her education and climbed the ranks in Skilled Nursing.​In early 2011 a chance encounter resulted in an offer to become the Executive Director for Raleigh Hills Assisted Living. The timing was right and Lynda has not looked back. Ensuring residents have a high quality of life is Lynda’s mission.

On top of managing operations for the reputable community and overseeing a team of 70 dedicated employees, you will often find Lynda visiting with residents. Listening to fascinating life stories and interacting with the residents is Lynda’s favorite part of the job.​Camping, hiking, or paddling with her Dragonboat team — basically anything outdoors is where you will find Lynda in her free time, making the Pacific Northwest the perfect home. You’ll also likely find her at every Oregon State Beaver’s football home game.
